While Maggie's practice now makes extensive use of color through digital tools and colored pencils, it is still grounded in the crisp lines and textures of pen and ink. Maggie's deep affinity for the natural world and keen eye for the sublime in the everyday result in quietly powerful portraits of animals, often depicted in stylized, surreal, or dreamlike environments. Maggie's work can be seen in galleries across the region and has been featured in numerous shows including the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts. Maggie's commissioned work resides in many private collections and has also been used commercially- recently in a can design for Boal Citv Brewery in Boalsburg, PA. Maggie has carved large scale woodblock prints for the prestigious "Big Ink event four times. Prints and original works by Maggie are available through the Lemont Gallery Shop and at maggieinks.com. An active teacher and clinician, Maggie's art career has recently taken her in a new direction: tattoo.
